SfL Offers Congratulations to New EPA Administrator Michael Regan

March 10, 2021

For Immediate Release

(March 10, 2021) – Solutions from the Land (SfL) extends congratulations to Michael Regan upon the Senate’s confirmation today of his appointment as EPA administrator. The former secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) brings a wealth of experience to his new job as the nation’s top environmental regulator. SfL is particularly impressed with Regan’s work with rural communities and agricultural interests in the state, where he served as chief advocate for clean air, water and energy. As the top EPA enforcement official, Regan can be expected to work across political lines, as well as with business interests and with advocacy groups. SfL stands ready to provide the new administrator with insights from the agriculture sector on the role it can play in meeting the nation’s environmental demands.
