President Ernie Shea Issues SfL Statement On the EPA Re-Opening Climate Change Website

March 18, 2021

For Immediate Release

(March 18, 2021) – EPA’s reopening of its climate change website provides ample opportunities for the agency to showcase the multiple solutions the agriculture and forestry sectors offer in the ongoing effort to stem and reverse the global threat to not only agricultural production, but to overall human well-being. The website can serve as a helpful portal for socializing and advancing the agriculture sector’s climate smart agriculture solution pathways, including supportive technologies and innovations such as precision agriculture and agricultural ecosystem and biodiversity management. The website can also serve as an effective means by which farmers and others in farming landscapes can communicate and collaborate to meet the challenges ahead.
