We are proud to
recognize Smithfield Foods, Inc., which recently launched
Smithfield Renewables to, “organize, unify, lead and accelerate the
company’s carbon reduction and renewable energy efforts.” This new arm of the
company will work to ensure that the company meets its goal of reducing
greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by the year 2025.
