Passage of the 2013 Farm Bill marked a new era of opportunity
for energy efficiency work in rural America. In addition to securing funding
for energy retrofit investments in homes, businesses and industry through
the Rural Energy for America Program, new opportunities were also created in
the bill through the Rural Utility Service (RUS).
RUS serves rural electric membership cooperatives across the
region.
Join the SEEA for an overview and discussion of these opportunities and their
implications for rate payers and utilities in the Southeast, and for the
manufacturers and service providers who support them.
